Seven students from World Citi Colleges’ School of International and Hospitality Management and College of Business Administration recently embarked on a virtual journey to Malaysia through the Virtual Culture, Language, and Environment Program (VCLEP2023).
Organized by Universiti Malaysia Terengganu's Centre for Foundation and Continuing Education, the program took place online on November 25th and 26th. Cyril Jevic Francisco, Catleya Ruth Gumabao, Kristine Mary Joy Lopez, Adrian Manalus, Kimberly Mariano, Margaux Tuquero, and Aliya Ashley Valdez had an unforgettable experience, engaging in informative and interactive sessions.
Throughout VCLEP2023, experts delivered captivating presentations on Malaysia's rich history, diverse cultures, and stunning ecosystems. Interactive discussions facilitated connections and understanding, while thought-provoking panel sessions delved into Malaysia's contemporary landscape and aspirations for the future.
An outstanding achievement came from Catleya Gumabao, Kimberly Mariano, and Margaux Tuquero, whose team presentation about the Philippines earned them a well-deserved second place. World Citi Colleges applauds all seven students for embracing this opportunity to learn, broaden their horizons, and connect with the world beyond their borders. Their participation in VCLEP2023 exemplifies their dedication to cultural exploration and their path towards becoming well-rounded world citizens.
