In a significant step towards empowering uniformed and non-uniformed personnel of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) and their families, World Citi Colleges (WCC) has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Coast Guard Human Resource Management Command (CGHRMC). The agreement formalizes a scholarship program aimed at providing accessible and quality education to PCG personnel and their dependents.  


Under this partnership, WCC offers exclusive scholarship benefits to Philippine Coast Guard personnel and their dependents, including a 50% tuition discount for select bachelor’s degree programs and a 15% discount for graduate degree programs, with limited slots available per campus.


The signing ceremony took place at the National Headquarters of the Philippine Coast Guard. Representing WCC was Mr. Paquito M. Lacaba Jr., Campus Director of WCC Quezon City, on behalf of WCC President Mr. Raymond Patrick V. Guico. The MOA was signed by Rear Admiral Allen J. Dalangin, PCG (MNSA), Commander of CGHRMC.  


Also present during the event were key PCG and WCC representatives, including Capt. Noemie G. Cayabyab, DC of CGS for Education and Training, CG-12; Mr. Marco Paolo D. Cruz, MBA, Marketing Head of WCC Quezon City; Ms. Joan M. Azores, Acting Chief for Non-Uniformed Personnel, and other officers and officials from both organizations.
