World Citi Colleges (WCC) is proud to announce the successful participation of its 2nd and 3rd year BS Pharmacy students in an intensive 2-week inbound mobility program hosted by the University of Cyberjaya (UoC) in Malaysia. This program represents a major step in WCC’s dedication to fostering global academic collaboration, practical expertise, and cultural exchange.

Under the guidance of Prof. Jose Fernando G. Elpa, RPh, CPh, MD; Prof. Jhon Raphael M. Jimenez, RPh, MS; and Dean Ma. Ana Monica N. Mingoa, RPh, MS—the students, including Aguinaldo Nayza Joy C., Cabero Shyla Marie V., Canonero Denise Marie R., Cerda Luise Anne P., Malinao Iramae P., Mendoza Naem Arrielle D., Padilla Danielle Maxine M., and Roxas Ariele R., had a unique opportunity to hone their skills in crafting various cosmetic products. Through hands-on workshops and sessions on cosmetic formulation and quality control, the program deepened their understanding of cosmetic formulation science, preparing them for the demands of this booming industry.

UoC, located in Malaysia's first smart city, is a premier institution dedicated to delivering an inspiring and transformative educational experience on its state-of-the-art, eco-friendly campus. Established in 2005, UoC has rapidly expanded from its initial focus on medicine and pharmacy to offer over 50 programs across diverse fields, including health sciences, nursing, pharmaceutical sciences, psychology, business, and biomedical engineering.

Following the success of this initiative, WCC’s College of Pharmacy is set to organize a Cosmetic Conference in April 2025. This upcoming event will feature participants from industry, academic institutions, and University of Cyberjaya delegates, fostering further collaboration and dialogue within the realm of cosmetic science.
