World Citi Colleges (WCC) has partnered with Huachiew Chalermprakiet University (HCU) in Thailand to enhance medical technology education. The partnership was solidified by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed during the Philippine Association of Schools of Medical Technology and Public Health (PASMETH) Midyear Convention in General Santos City, Philippines last January 25, 2024.

This dynamic collaboration focuses on enriching the academic landscape through several key initiatives. Joint efforts encompass curriculum development, internship programs, and the creation of high-quality instructional materials. Additionally, both institutions will co-host seminars, training sessions, conferences, and symposiums, fostering knowledge exchange and mobility for students and faculty. A cornerstone of this partnership is the collaborative sharing of expertise in research projects and publications, aiming to propel medical technology knowledge forward.

With their combined strengths, WCC and HCU have their sights set on expanding their partnership to encompass other academic fields, fostering a wave of innovation and progress across the educational landscape. Collaboration in medical technology education is just the first step.

HCU was represented by Dr. Uraipan Janvanichyanont, President; Dr. Jonathan Rante Carreon, Vice President for Academic Affairs; and Prof. Sucha Chulsomlee, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology. On behalf of WCC, Dr. Emmanuel Saludes, Dean of the College of Medical Technology and College of Radiologic Technology, and Mr. Renato Espeleta, Internship Coordinator, participated in the MOU signing.
