In the pursuit of globalizing educational offerings and providing students with transformative learning experiences, World Citi Colleges (WCC) and Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) officially solidified their commitment to collaborative efforts with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The signing ceremony, held on February 22, 2024, symbolizes the shared vision of both institutions to enhance global educational opportunities and foster cross-cultural exchange.

The MOU signing paves the way for a strategic partnership aimed at advancing the internationalization goals of both NSCC and WCC. Under this partnership, both institutions will engage in cooperative endeavors to explore and implement various international educational and training initiatives, with a focus on student and faculty exchanges.

Through targeted partnerships, NSCC and WCC aim to enhance curriculum offerings, research opportunities, and industry engagement within specialized areas such as Tourism, Culinary Arts, Business, and other prospective projects.

The MOU signing ceremony was attended by esteemed representatives from both NSCC and WCC, as well as distinguished guests including Tracey Louise Taweel, Executive Deputy Minister, Nova Scotia Communities & Social Impact, Department of Intergovernmental Affairs; Robert Michael McMurray, Executive Director, International Relations, Department of Intergovernmental Affairs; Katie Orr, Director of International, NSCC; Hon. Consul Consuelo Lacson, Philippine Consulate General in Halifax; Lina Pulian, Trade Commissioner Assistant, Embassy of Canada to the Philippines.

On behalf of WCC, President Raymond Patrick Guico, led the delegation, accompanied by Dr. Ma. Cristina Estioco, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Ms. Mia Monica A.
