May 1, 2024 – World Citi Colleges proudly announces its formal membership in the Bayluhanay Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Network, marking a significant step towards global educational collaboration. Under this initiative, World Citi Colleges launched its first COIL project titled "THE GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE ON MARKETING PRACTICES IN THE PHILIPPINES AND COLOMBIA," in partnership with Corporación Universitaria Minuto de Dios-UNIMINUTO University in Bogota, Colombia, and local Philippine institutions San Pedro College and Central Mindanao Colleges. Commencing on April 9, 2024, and concluding on April 30, 2024, this 4-week COIL initiative aimed at exploring Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) such as Quality Education (SDG 4), Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17). The program engaged 3rd Year Pharmacy Students from World Citi Colleges' College of Pharmacy, fostering cultural exchange and global understanding through collaborative learning. Representatives from World Citi Colleges included Prof. Jose Fernando G. Elpa and Prof. Jhon Raphael Jimenez from the College of Pharmacy. They were joined by Mr. Emerson Calumpang and Dr. Erwin M. Faller from San Pedro College, Prof. Henry Alberto Castano Rojas from UNIMINUTO University, and AP Mariel Cabanilla, Dr. Mark Gennesis Dela Cerna, and Ms. Denise Alonzo from Central Mindanao College.
