Anti-Bribery or Corruption Policy
POLICY STATEMENT
World Citi Colleges is committed to promoting integrity, accountability, and transparency in all our operations. This Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy aims to uphold the highest ethical standards, promote transparency, uphold our reputation, and ensure that our operations are conducted fairly and responsibly.
PURPOSE
This policy aims to prevent, identify, and address bribery and corruption within our institution to foster an environment of trust and integrity among our students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
SCOPE
This policy applies to all college community members, including students, faculty, staff, contractors, and anyone representing the institution.
PRINCIPLES
Integrity and Transparency: We commit to conducting our business affairs with honesty and transparency. All interactions must be open and above board. All third parties engaged by WCC for services or partnerships will be vetted to ensure their commitment to ethical practices and compliance with this policy.
Zero Tolerance: We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption. Any individual found engaging in such activities will be dealt with accordingly.
Accountability: All members of the college community, including faculty, staff, students, and third parties, are responsible for upholding this policy and reporting any suspected violations.
IMPLEMENTATION
To ensure the effective implementation of this policy, we adopt a multi-faceted approach.
- Our governing body formally endorses the policy and ensures it is communicated clearly to all community members. This includes comprehensive dissemination through emails, our institutional website, and orientation sessions, allowing everyone to understand their roles and responsibilities in adhering to these ethical standards.
- We will conduct a once-a-year Training and Awareness program to educate the community about the legal implications, reporting procedure, and the importance of ethical conduct.
- We will implement Internal controls, regular audits, and compliance checks are instituted to ensure policy adherence and proactively identify improvement areas.
REVIEW AND UPDATES
To ensure the Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy remains effective and relevant, an annual review is conducted. This review assesses the policy’s effectiveness based on reported incidents and community feedback, which will be gathered through surveys and open forums.
Any necessary amendments identified during this process will be duly documented and communicated promptly to the entire college and university community. This commitment to regular evaluation and open communication embodies our institution's dedication to integrity and accountability.
