TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS, TURN UP THE SAVINGS


As we face increasing environmental challenges, every action we take toward sustainability matters. World Citi Colleges is excited to launch "TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS, TURN UP THE SAVINGS," a program designed to conserve energy across all offices of World Citi Colleges by encouraging everyone to turn off non-essential lights during lunch breaks from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.

At World Citi Colleges, we believe in leading by example. This initiative not only aims to save energy but also seeks to inspire meaningful discussions about our collective responsibility to protect the environment. By participating, we can make a lasting impact that extends beyond this one-hour action, fostering awareness and encouraging responsible energy practices in our daily routines.

The objectives of this initiative include:

  • Reduce Energy Consumption: By turning off lights during lunch, we can significantly lower our energy usage, leading to both cost savings for the institution and a smaller carbon footprint for our community.


  • Enhance Awareness of Energy Efficiency: We aim to educate all members of the World Citi Colleges community about the importance of energy conservation, emphasizing how small, collective actions can lead to substantial environmental benefits.


  • Cultivate Sustainable Habits: This initiative seeks to inspire faculty, staff, and students to adopt additional eco-friendly practices, such as utilizing natural light whenever possible, unplugging unused devices, and promoting discussions around energy conservation.
