POLICY STATEMENT

WCC is dedicated to promoting respect, integrity, and ethical behavior in all its operations. This Modern Slavery Policy outlines our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking within our institution, supply chains, and community interactions.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this policy is to demonstrate World Citi Colleges’ (WCC) commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all its forms. This policy outlines WCC's measures to ensure that its operations and supply chains are free from exploitation and abuse.

SCOPE

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and third parties engaged with WCC and covers all operations and locations.

World Citi Colleges is committed to promoting human rights and ensuring that its operations and supply chains are free from modern slavery. This policy reflects WCC’s dedication to ethical practices and accountability in all its dealings.

PRINCIPLES

Commitment to Human Rights: WCC recognizes that modern slavery is a violation of fundamental human rights and is committed to upholding and protecting the rights and dignity of all individuals. We will take proactive measures to prevent modern slavery in its operations and supply chains by raising awareness among staff, faculty, and students about the signs and implications of modern slavery and human trafficking.

Due Diligence: We conduct thorough due diligence on potential suppliers and contractors to assess their compliance with anti-modern slavery practices. We incorporate modern slavery risk assessments into procurement processes, ensuring that suppliers adhere to ethical labor practices and comply with local and international laws regarding human trafficking and modern slavery.

Collaboration and Engagement: We foster partnerships with organizations focused on human rights and ethical labor practices to strengthen our commitment and enhance our capabilities in preventing modern slavery.

IMPLEMENTATION

We conduct training and communication plans to ensure that all departments within WCC are aware of and adhere to this policy.

We monitor and assess the effectiveness of this policy and related practices regularly, making improvements as necessary based on feedback, regulatory changes, and evolving best practices in sustainability and human rights.

We report annually on our efforts to combat modern slavery, including measures taken, outcomes, and areas for further improvement.

REVIEW AND UPDATE

We will conduct an annual review in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, which will be updated as necessary to reflect changes in legislation and best practices. We will ensure that revisions are communicated widely and accessible to the entire WCC community.

By adopting this Modern Slavery Policy, World Citi Colleges affirms its commitment to upholding the dignity and rights of individuals and preventing any form of modern slavery in its operations and supply chains. By aligning our efforts with the principles of sustainability and the Sustainable Development Goals, we strive to create a safe, fair, and just environment for all, contributing to the well-being of our community and society as a whole.
