POLICY ON LIMITING MOTOR VEHICLE USE AT WORLD CITI COLLEGES

As part of our commitment to fostering a sustainable and environmentally-friendly campus, World Citi Colleges recognizes the need to address the increasing number of motor vehicles on our premises. The growing reliance on personal vehicles contributes to traffic congestion, environmental pollution, and a decline in campus safety.

This policy aims to promote alternative modes of transportation, enhance the overall campus experience, and align with our institutional values of sustainability and community well-being.

The objectives of this initiative include:

  • Reduce Traffic Congestion: Minimize the number of motor vehicles on campus to improve traffic flow and accessibility for all members of the college community, creating a more welcoming environment.

  • Promote Sustainable Transportation: Encourage the use of public transportation, cycling, walking, and carpooling as viable alternatives to single-occupancy vehicles, reinforcing our commitment to environmental stewardship.

  • Enhance Safety: Create a safer environment, ensuring that all community members can navigate the campus safely.

  • Improve Air Quality: Decrease emissions and pollution associated with excessive motor vehicle use, contributing to a healthier campus environment and supporting our goal of being a greener institution.

  • Encourage Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community among students, faculty, and staff by promoting collaborative transportation solutions, such as carpooling and shared rides, enhancing social connections on campus.

By implementing this policy, World Citi Colleges aims to create a more sustainable and engaging campus environment that prioritizes the health and safety of its community members. We believe that through collective action and awareness, we can cultivate a vibrant campus that reflects our commitment to sustainability and community well-being.
