World Citi Colleges is committed to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 7, which guarantees everyone access to modern, cheap, dependable, and sustainable energy. The foundation of sustainable development is clean energy, which has effects far beyond the electrical infrastructure. Every element of our lives is influenced by energy, from the vital services that keep our communities alive to the technology that drives our businesses. On the other hand, there has been a greater urgent need for a swift switch to renewable energy sources due to climate change and resource constraints. Switch On Youngsters Camp for Clean Energy Transition is an intensive program that educates, motivates, and mobilizes youngsters to become advocates for a clean energy future.
Beyond just a camp, Switch On Youth Camp yields a forum for aspiring bellwethers to delve deeply into the problems and solutions around sustainable energy. World Citi Colleges is training young people to participate actively in creating a society driven by clean, sustainable energy sources by giving them the information and resources they need to comprehend energy efficiency and renewable and sustainable habits. Given that the clean energy transition requires a new generation that is informed, capable, and prepared to lead, this effort conveys World Citi Colleges conviction in the potential of youth-driven change and illustrates our commitment to SDG 7.
More than 750 million people worldwide perpetually do not have access to electricity, and many rely on non-sustainable energy sources that restrict their access to economic and educational possibilities and are detrimental to the environment. To remedy these inequities, fight climate change, and build a healthier, more egalitarian society, SDG 7 must be achieved. Clean energy is imperative to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, improve energy security, and provide communities with the necessary resources for sustainable development. WCC is supporting this worldwide initiative via Switch On Youth Camp by educating young people about the value of clean energy and motivating them to become sustainability advocates in their local communities
WCC believes that young people are the answer to unlocking a sustainable energy future as we work toward SDG 7. They are the designers of tomorrow and the heirs to the world we build today. WCC provides them with the resources, information, and motivation to take the lead via initiatives like Switch On Youth Camp.
