Decent Work and Economic Growth

Fostering Inclusive Growth and Economic Empowerment - World Citi Colleges Commitment to SDG 8 through Farmaralan harvest, Wigtastic Project and STALO Project

A solid commitment to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 8, which calls for full and productive employment, decent work for everyone, and sustained, inclusive, and sustainable economic growth, is what motivates World Citi Colleges. Sustainable Development Goal 8 is a call to action to establish conditions that allow every person to flourish in a society where income, opportunity, and skill access gaps are enduring problems. In pursuit of this objective, World Citi Colleges (WCC) has started three groundbreaking projects: Farmaralan Harvest, Wigtastic Project, and STALO Project. Each of these projects addresses distinct economic needs in local communities while promoting empowerment and sustainable development.

All of these programs embody World Citi College's comprehensive strategy for inclusive development. As farmers in Cuyambay, a World Citi Colleges adopted community, they sell their fresh food. Farmaralan Harvest honors their accomplishments and shows how sustainable agriculture can provide revenue. By teaching women how to make wigs, the Wigtastic Project gives them a helpful profession and a routine for financial independence. In the interim, livelihood training is provided to the jobless via the STALO project, which helps them develop the abilities necessary to find fulfilling work. When talen as a whole, these initiatives represent World Citi Colleges commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 8 and to establishing a society in which all people have access to good jobs and the chance to create a secure future.

The STALO Project, Farmaralan Harvest, and Wigtastic Project all point out World Citi Colleges dedication to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 8 by tackling diverse but apropos economic issues. World Citi Colleges is fostering communities that are resilient, self-sufficient, and equipped to end the cycle of poverty across these programs. These initiatives' combined influence has a cascading effect, encouraging a culture of development, self-reliance, and creativity that is advantageous to both people and whole communities.

In the words of WCC, education is the cornerstone of Sustainable development, and we can pave the way for a brighter future by providing people with the necessary tools and resources. Together, Farmaralan Harvest, the Wigtastic project, and the STALO project foreground World Citi Colleges comprehensive strategy for economic empowerment, which includes workforce development, gender equality, and agriculture. Through these programs, WCC is proving that when communities come together, sustainable economic development is possible, and inclusive growth is attainable.
