Our Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology is a four-year program that combines general education and professional courses. The program culminates in a year-long internship at a CHED-accredited training laboratory, where you will gain hands-on experience in various sections such as Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunohematology (Blood Banking), Immunology and Serology, Clinical Microscopy (Urinalysis and other Body Fluids), Parasitology, Histopathologic/Cytologic Techniques, and other emerging technologies.

Welcome to the dynamic world of medical technology and laboratory science! In this program, you will gain comprehensive knowledge and essential skills in the following areas:

  • Technical Competence: Perform clinical laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases while adhering to biosafety and waste management protocols.
  • Analytical and Critical Thinking: Utilize analytical and critical thinking skills to address challenges in the workplace.
  • Health Information Management: Engage in the collection, analysis, and projection of health information to improve healthcare management systems.
  • Interpersonal Skills and Ethical Practice: Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and ethical practice in the profession.
  • Research Skills: Apply research skills to relevant areas of Medical Technology/Medical Laboratory Science practice.
